Snake Davis is the sax-man on the hits by M-People and Lisa Stansfield and in particular played the iconic opening riff on A Million Love Songs. His soulful sound has been heard with many great artists, from McCartney to The Eurythmics and Klingande to Calvin Harris.
Chris Bannister is a singer-songwriter-guitarist of immense talent and class. The two met when Chris was invited to play an opening set on a Heather Small tour some years ago. They bonded immediately, both socially and musically. Various collaborations followed, including in Snake’s ‘Classic Sax Solos’ show, but 2019 saw their first performance as a duo. Like Snake, Chris’s influences are broad, encompassing folk, pop, soul, country and more.
The evening promises a rare quality. Expect an exhilarating and varied set of wonderful songs, presented in this incredible setting.
